Hargadon Conenction:: My maternal grandmother was Alice Hargadon, born in Brantford Ontario, Canada, daughter of Owen Hargadon and Mary Ann Cahill, Owen being of Sligo Ireland. I can place Owen in Sligo in 1824 thanks to the Tithe Applotments of 1824, then in Dundas, Canada west in 1854 corresponding to his sister Mary, who at that time lived in New York City.
