Hi Caroline
My name is Jim Boyle and I live in the US. If your Grandfather James Hargadon was married to Barbara McGleave we are probably related. The records I have on James is that he was born in Oakbank, Scotland on Feb 21 1894 and maried Barbara on Sept 20 1920 in the Catholic Church in Broxburn. They had 7 children one of whom was a Barbara but I have her birth listed in 1932 but these records are always a bit suspect. Do you and Mum's recollections tie into these records? If so your grandfather and my grandmother were brother & sister. There were 10 children in my grandmothers family with the oldest born in Ireland in 1881 and the other 9 born in Oakbank. Let me know if your records match any of this. Jim

Caroline - I finished a little more research. Is your mother Margaret & your father Gordon, if so then the info I gave to you earlier is correct and your grandfather James was a brother to Mary Ann, my grandmother. Records indicate the spelling is Clarke and they were married in 1957. Jim Boyle

Hi Caroline - I don't know where to start. You have many relatives on this site. Lisa Drew & Barbara Curis are daughters of your Uncle Jjames who migrated to England and died there in April of 1996. You may already know this. I am one of the relatives in the States. Your grandfather's youngest brother Joseph came to the states in 1930 around the same time as my mother came her. Unfortunately Joe, his wife Jean and the 2 children Jean and Bernard are all dead but Bernard's wife is Mary jane Hargadon and is also on the site. Gerldine Clancy & Pat Tierney are also relatives onthis site. You cab get info by looking at the comments. If you get a chance would like dates of birth, marriage, death, children etc etc to add to my FamilyTreeMaker software. If you have an email address you can sent it to me and I will send you what history I have on the family. You have quite a few relatives still in Broxburn and the surrounds and also in Canada. My father was from Uphall and there is a Rosemary Foulner still there (I think). I visited Broxburn and some of my relatives in 1954 & 1994. My email is deejim1059@optonline.net and you can send me yours at that address. Regards Jim Boyle

Good Day,

How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on:(mrsstellaabudheir200@gmail.com ) for the full details.

Have a nice day

Thanks God bless.

Stella.
