No, my father was born in Boston. I believe his father and mother came over from Ireland. I will ask my Aunt Madeleine (Thomas Jefferson Hargadon, Jr.'s wife). She is still alive and knows many of my father's older relatives. I will let you know what I find out.
Hi Steve,
I am a brother of Brian, Oliver and John. You can contact Brian who has done a considerable amount of research on our branch of the Hargadon's. Brian has been in contact with you on numerous occassions over the last number of years. You rang my home some years ago but I was away at the time. you spoke to my so Gary at the time.

Steve,
Picture on P 14 of your 94 pages is an outline of my family. Tony Hargadon Margaret Parker, uncles & aunts. My father Charles Joseph died at 53 yrs old is there. My mother is missing. I will get this updated.
This is all coming together. If that is the twin that my great- grand father (and grandfather) lived in then it turns out that you struck gold in the Hargadon ancestry search. Is John your great-great-granfather?
Hello Steve ,Ihave tried at least 3 times to respond to your first message but the messages seem to disappear into thin air. I enjoyed very much your story about tracking down your ancestral home,
Really? I just discovered the Hargadon name on familysearch.org Where was the reunion held? Have you heard of any Finnegans or Rooneys in your research? This is really exciting..I'm glad to be here!
Thanks Steve for the welcome and your wonderful site. I haven't been to Sligo yet but my mom and Aunt visited way back in the late 70's and had no luck locating family. Not sure why since I know there were siblings who stayed in Ireland in the prior generation. Will definitely contact you if and when I have a visit to Sligo planned.
Hi Steve,You are probably aware of this person, she appears to be collecting info Please check it out Regards Jim
How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on:(mrsstellaabudheir200@gmail.com) for the full details.
Have a nice day
Thanks God bless.
Stella.
